The customer is a global leader in payment processing. They handle millions of transactions on behalf of multiple banks in India.
They sought a faster certification process as the new terminal introduced in the market was taking months to be certified; the number of iterations for every certification was becoming a nightmare as they had to book slots for testing and analysis.
This case study provides a concise overview of how Payhuddle reduced their certification timelines and administrative costs.
We used our existing web-based centralized host testing platform, Lithos, and developed the debugging facility. We architected the certification board process with different user roles and responsibilities to cater to the processor's needs.
Lithos functions as an acquirer, issuer and terminal simulator with support for various payment brands like Visa, MasterCard, RuPay, and Amex. It is pre-built with terminal certification test cases and it does configuration of libraries, test cases and pass criteria.
As a self-testing platform it does not require extra resources to manage and certify the terminals. It can simulate all the stakeholders, like the acquirers, issuers, and the terminal, which reduces the management and administrative costs for the payment processor.
This processor was able to run their debug testing, where they could run their internal test cases and certification test cases very efficiently.
Our platform, Lithos, was able to address all of these challenges with ease.
The processor can now deploy this platform to debug their terminals for different schemes and reduce their certification timelines.
With this solution, this payment processor ensured that all their certifications were completed in one iteration.
